The 3rd grade classes had an awesome time with STEM and Jack and the Beanstalk! The students brought a “Jack” figure and a parachute they made at home. The students attached the parachute to Jack in class. The students launched Jack from the 2nd floor and the rest of the class watched from below. Students returned to class and evaluated their parachute. Did they make a good choice of materials? Was it too big? Too small?
